Personal data we process
Romy Bitter Consultancy processes personal data when you use our services or when you provide this data to us yourself.
Depending on the services you purchase from us, we may process the following personal data:
- First and last name
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Place of birth
- Address details
- Phone number
- E-mail address
We only process personal data that is necessary to provide our services or to comply with legal obligations.
What do we use your personal data for?
Romy Bitter Consultancy uses your personal data for the following purposes:
- Providing and administering our services;
- Handling payments and invoicing;
- Contacting you when this is necessary for our services;
- Informing you about changes to our services or products;
- Complying with legal and administrative obligations.
We only process personal data when there is a legal basis for doing so, for example because it is necessary for the performance of an agreement, because we are legally required to process certain data or because you have given your consent.
How long do we keep your personal data?
Romy Bitter Consultancy does not keep your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless we are legally required to keep certain data for longer.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Romy Bitter Consultancy does not sell your personal data to third parties.
In some cases we may share personal data with third parties when this is necessary to provide our services, for example with parties that support us with administration, payments or IT services. Where necessary, we make agreements with these parties on the protection of your personal data.
In addition, we may disclose personal data when we are legally required to do so.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- have your personal data corrected if it is incorrect;
- have your personal data deleted under certain circumstances;

- withdraw your consent to processing, where the processing is based on consent;
- have your personal data transferred to you or to another organisation under certain circumstances.

To make sure that a request was made by you, we may ask for additional information to verify your identity. Please do not send a full copy of your identity document unnecessarily. If a copy is necessary, you can black out sensitive details such as your photo, citizen service number (BSN) and document number.
We aim to respond to your request as quickly as possible and in any case within the statutory period.
Filing a complaint
Are you unhappy with the way we handle your personal data? Then you can of course report this to us first via hello@romybitter.nl.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), the Dutch supervisory authority for privacy. More information is available at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
